Mechanism of action
Glutamine supplementation has been found to enhance immune function and increase the production of cytokines. Thalidomide, on the other hand, has been shown to inhibit the production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and other pro-inflammatory cytokines, leading to its anti-inflammatory effects. The combination of glutamine and thalidomide may work synergistically to modulate the immune response and inhibit tumor growth.
