Definition
Health Technology Assessment (HTA) is the structured evaluation of a health intervention's clinical effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and broader social/ethical impact. HTA bodies — NICE (UK), G-BA/IQWiG (Germany), HAS (France), CADTH (Canada), PBAC (Australia), TLV (Sweden) — drive reimbursement decisions in their jurisdictions.
