Mechanism of action
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase pump in parietal cells. Amoxicillin and levofloxacin are broad-spectrum antibiotics that work synergistically to eradicate Helicobacter pylori and other pathogenic bacteria. Together, this combination addresses both the acid-related damage and the underlying bacterial infection.
