Mechanism of action
This product contains 50% insulin lispro (a rapid-acting insulin analog) and 50% insulin lispro protamine suspension (an intermediate-acting form). The rapid-acting component begins working within 15 minutes to control postprandial glucose spikes, while the intermediate-acting component provides basal glucose coverage over several hours, mimicking the body's natural biphasic insulin secretion pattern.
