Mechanism of action

KRG's active constituents, particularly ginsenosides (Rb1, Rg1, Re, etc.), interact with multiple cellular pathways including toll-like receptors, nuclear factor-kappa B signaling, and mitochondrial function. These interactions promote natural killer cell activity, enhance T-cell proliferation, suppress pro-inflammatory cytokine production, and scavenge reactive oxygen species. The polysaccharide and polyphenol fractions also contribute to immunomodulatory and cytoprotective effects.
