Mechanism of action

AH-Plus sets through an acid-base reaction between epoxy resin and hexamethylenetetramine, creating a dimensionally stable polymer that bonds to dentin and gutta-percha. It releases formaldehyde during setting, which contributes to antimicrobial properties. The sealer is radiopaque and biocompatible, designed to create an impermeable barrier that prevents reinfection of endodontically treated teeth.
