The present invention relates to: microspheres comprising tirzepatide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a biocompatible polymer; and a method for preparing the same; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same. The microspheres comprising tirzepatide according to the present invention can maintain an effective concentration of a drug in blood for a long period of time by exhibiting stable drug release for a long period of time, thereby extending a drug administration cycle, increasing drug compliance of a patient, and reducing side effects caused by rapid initial drug release.
