USPTO Abstract
According to the invention, a device (1) for controlling a penetration depth (D1 to Dn) to which an injection needle (2) penetrates a body of a human or an animal comprises - a cylindrical first sleeve (3), - an injection needle (2) that protrudes a distal end of the first sleeve (3) in a distal direction and - a cylindrical second sleeve (4) that receives the first sleeve (3). The penetration depth (D1 to Dn) of the injection needle (2) corresponds to an axial translation of the first sleeve (3) with respect to the second sleeve (2). The axial translation is adjustable by a screw coupling.
