Definition
An Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) combines a monoclonal antibody (targeting a cell-surface antigen) with a cytotoxic small-molecule payload (typically a microtubule inhibitor or DNA-damaging agent) via a chemical linker. The antibody delivers the payload selectively to antigen-positive cells. Notable ADCs: Kadcyla (T-DM1), Enhertu (T-DXd), Padcev (enfortumab vedotin), Trodelvy (sacituzumab govitecan).
