Mechanism of action
This combination of serine proteases works by digesting denatured proteins, fibrin deposits, and inflammatory exudates at sites of injury or inflammation. By clearing proteinaceous debris and reducing local inflammation, these enzymes promote tissue repair and can enhance the bioavailability of co-administered medications. The enzymes are typically used topically or systemically for their anti-inflammatory and proteolytic properties.
