triptorelin, recombinant LH
triptorelin, recombinant LH is a GnRH agonist with recombinant LH supplementation Small molecule drug developed by IVI Madrid. It is currently FDA-approved for Controlled ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology (ART) / in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Triptorelin is a GnRH agonist that stimulates the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) to support reproductive function.
Triptorelin is a recombinant gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, classified as an AGONIST. It acts by binding to the gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor, a protein, to modulate its activity.

Mechanism of action
Triptorelin binds to GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, initially causing a surge in LH and FSH secretion. When used in assisted reproductive technology (ART), this initial stimulation triggers the final maturation of oocytes and prepares the reproductive system for egg retrieval. The recombinant LH component provides exogenous luteinizing hormone to support follicle development and steroidogenesis during controlled ovarian stimulation.
