Mechanism of action
Sinupret contains a standardized extract of five medicinal plants (gentian root, primrose flowers, vervain herb, elderflower, and sorrel herb) that work synergistically to decrease mucus viscosity, enhance mucociliary clearance, and reduce inflammatory responses in the paranasal sinuses and upper respiratory tract. The extract promotes natural drainage of secretions and reduces swelling of the mucous membranes.
