Mechanism of action
Saline infusion works by replenishing fluids in the body, ketoprofen works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that cause pain and inflammation, and paracetamol works by blocking the production of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.
