Mechanism of action

Rutin is a bioflavonoid that acts as a potent antioxidant and strengthens capillary walls by stabilizing collagen and reducing vascular permeability. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) enhances this effect by regenerating rutin's antioxidant capacity and serving as a cofactor for collagen synthesis. Together, they reduce oxidative damage and improve microvascular function.
