recombinant human endostatin
recombinant human endostatin is a Angiogenesis inhibitor Small molecule drug developed by Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute. It is currently FDA-approved for Non-small cell lung cancer, Colorectal cancer. Also known as: endostar, rh-endostatin, Endostar, Evafolimab Injection.
Recombinant human endostatin inhibits angiogenesis by blocking new blood vessel formation in tumors.
Recombinant human endostatin is a hydrolytic enzyme that targets hyaluronic acid. It has been studied in clinical trials for various conditions, including non-small cell lung cancer, adenocarcinoma of the lung, type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, and coronary arteriosclerosis.

Mechanism of action
Endostatin is a naturally occurring endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor derived from collagen XVIII. The recombinant form binds to endothelial cells and inhibits their proliferation and migration, thereby suppressing the formation of new blood vessels that tumors require for growth and metastasis. By starving tumors of their blood supply, it restricts tumor expansion and progression.
