Mechanism of action

Pycnogenol, derived from French maritime pine bark, contains a complex mixture of flavonoids and proanthocyanidins that scavenge free radicals and inhibit inflammatory pathways. It enhances endothelial function by increasing nitric oxide availability and improving blood flow, while also stabilizing collagen and reducing vascular permeability through cross-linking of structural proteins.
