Mechanism of action
Propofol is an intravenous hypnotic agent that depresses the central nervous system to induce and maintain anesthesia. Rocuronium is a neuromuscular blocking agent that paralyzes skeletal muscles by blocking acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction. Fentanyl is an opioid analgesic that provides intraoperative analgesia, while inhalational agents (likely sevoflurane or isoflurane) maintain anesthetic depth throughout the procedure.
