Mechanism of action

Potassium nitrate penetrates the tooth structure and depolarizes sensory C-fibers, blocking pain signal transmission to the nerve. Sodium fluoride promotes remineralization of enamel and dentin, strengthening the tooth surface and reducing sensitivity. Together, these agents provide both symptomatic relief of dental hypersensitivity and structural reinforcement of vulnerable tooth surfaces.
