Mechanism of action
PRP is an autologous blood product obtained by centrifuging the patient's own blood to concentrate platelets, which contain growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, FGF, TGF-β) and other bioactive molecules. When injected into target tissues, these factors promote angiogenesis, fibroblast activation, and tissue remodeling. The treatment typically requires multiple sessions to achieve cumulative regenerative effects.
