Mechanism of action
PRFM is prepared from the patient's own blood and processed to create a fibrin matrix enriched with platelets and growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, FGF, TGF-β). When applied to surgical or wound sites, the matrix acts as a scaffold for cell migration and differentiation while delivering bioactive molecules that stimulate angiogenesis, collagen deposition, and tissue remodeling.
