nebulized epinephrine
nebulized epinephrine is a Sympathomimetic amine / Adrenergic agonist Small molecule drug developed by Oman Medical Speciality Board. It is currently FDA-approved for Croup (laryngotracheobronchitis) in children, Acute upper airway obstruction, Laryngeal edema. Also known as: Nebulized Adrenaline.
Nebulized epinephrine is an inhaled alpha and beta-adrenergic agonist that rapidly constricts airway blood vessels and relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to reduce airway edema and improve airflow.
Nebulized epinephrine is a small molecule adrenergic receptor agonist used to treat conditions such as RSV bronchiolitis, bronchiolitis, and acute bronchiolitis. It is administered via nebulization, a method of delivering medication directly to the lungs, and is often compared to nebulized albuterol in clinical trials.

Mechanism of action
Epinephrine acts on alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in the airway mucosa to cause vasoconstriction, reducing submucosal edema and airway obstruction. Simultaneously, it stimulates beta-2 adrenergic receptors on bronchial smooth muscle to promote bronchodilation. The nebulized delivery targets the upper and lower airways directly, providing rapid symptomatic relief in acute airway obstruction.
