Taxol (nab-paclitaxel)
Taxol (generic name: nab-paclitaxel) is a Microtubule Inhibitor drug developed by Pfizer. It is currently FDA-approved (first approved 1992) for Carcinoma of breast, Carcinoma of fallopian tube, Hypertensive disorder.
Taxol, also known as paclitaxel, is a small molecule used to treat various cancers, including breast carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. It works by preventing the normal breakdown of microtubules during cell division, ultimately killing cancer cells.
