Mechanism of action
It does this by binding to glucocorticoid receptors, which then decrease the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increase the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines. This leads to a decrease in airway inflammation and an improvement in symptoms of asthma and other respiratory conditions.
