Mechanism of action
Eziclen contains sodium picosulfate, magnesium oxide, and citric acid, which together create an osmotic effect that draws water into the intestinal lumen and stimulates bowel movements. This combination cleanses the colon by promoting rapid transit of stool and intestinal contents, enabling clear visualization during colonoscopy or other lower gastrointestinal procedures.
