Lotrimin is an antifungal medication used to treat various skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and fungal infections like athlete's foot and jock itch. It works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha demethylase through its action as a cytochrome P450 51 inhibitor.
