Mechanism of action
Hyoscine butylbromide works as a muscarinic receptor antagonist that reduces smooth muscle contractions in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby alleviating spasms and cramping pain. Paracetamol provides additional analgesic and antipyretic effects. This combination addresses both the mechanical pain of GI spasms and general pain/fever symptoms.
