Mechanism of action

i-Factor is a resorbable bone graft substitute composed of a collagen matrix combined with recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein (rhBMP) or similar osteoinductive factors. It acts as both a structural scaffold for bone ingrowth and a delivery vehicle for growth factors that recruit and differentiate osteoprogenitor cells into osteoblasts, facilitating natural bone healing and regeneration in orthopedic applications.
