Mechanism of action

ASU is a mixture of unsaponifiable fractions derived from avocado and soybean oils that modulates inflammatory pathways, particularly reducing IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α production. It inhibits matrix metalloproteinases and other enzymes responsible for cartilage breakdown, while promoting cartilage repair mechanisms. The extract also has antioxidant properties that may protect joint tissues from oxidative stress.
