Mechanism of action

Testosterone undecanoate is a long-chain ester of testosterone that is absorbed via the lymphatic system when taken orally with food, bypassing first-pass hepatic metabolism. This allows oral delivery of testosterone while maintaining physiological levels. The testosterone then binds to androgen receptors throughout the body to restore secondary sexual characteristics and metabolic function in testosterone-deficient men.
