Mechanism of action
This product contains standardized birch pollen allergen extract administered sublingually or subcutaneously to induce immune tolerance. Through repeated exposure at increasing doses, the therapy shifts the immune response from IgE-mediated hypersensitivity toward IgG-blocking antibodies and regulatory T cells, reducing allergic symptoms upon natural birch pollen exposure.
