Mechanism of action
AM contains polyphenols and flavonoids that scavenge reactive oxygen species and inhibit inflammatory cytokine production in renal tissue. It has been shown to stabilize the glomerular filtration barrier and reduce urinary protein loss in chronic kidney disease models and clinical use.
