Who can join

Adults 18 to 75, any sex, with Cirrhosis or Esophageal and Gastric Varices. Patients with the condition only — healthy volunteers not accepted.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Rifaximin in the treatment of cirrhotic gastroesophageal variceal bleeding.
