Interventions

• Stepwise therapy for dyslipidemia, hypertension and diabetes
• Dietary recommendations
• Increase in physical activity
• Smoking cessation

Primary outcomes

• Lowering of LDL cholesterol concentrations and blood pressure levels (at 12 months). Increase in use of antiplatelet agents (at 12 months)
