Methods for concomitant administration of colchicine together with one or more macrolide antibiotics, e.g., clarithromycin or erythromycin, are disclosed. Methods of notifying health care practitioners and patients regarding appropriate dosing for co-administration of colchicine together with macrolide antibiotics are also provided.
