587,994. Sprinkler stoppers. BICKLE, H. M. Jan. 1, 1945, No. 48. [Class 125 (iii)] A sprinkling or like stopper for a bottle &c. adapted to discharge liquid in the form of drops or a stream has channels 17 extending from the nozzle 16 to a pair of troughs 15 so that drip will pass into the troughs and when pouring is again effected, join the main stream passing from the nozzle. A modified form is described in which only one trough is used, the side of the stopper in which the channels are positioned being plane or vertical. Specification 521,237 is referred to.
