558,866. Nozzles. ROBINSON, W. A. Juty 21, 1942, No. 10200. Convention date, April 1. [Class 69 (iii)] A nozzle for discharge of a liquid alternatively in the form of a spray or jet is provided on its end face with a shutter 16 adjustable by a pivotal sliding movement to obturate a portion of the discharge aperture 15, or leave it entirely unobstructed in order to form respectively a spray or a jet. The shutter may be spring biased towards the spray-producing position. A pin and slot 21, 20 limit the movements of the shutter.
