408,856. Inhalers. BOSCH, W. VAN SETERS-, 78, Scheveningscheweg, and FRANKEMOLLER, H., 158, Regentesselaan, both in The Hague. Aug. 14, 1933, No. 22639. [Class 81 (ii).] An inhaler comprises a container 1 for material to be inhaled, communicating with the atmosphere through openings at its base, and provided at the top with a removable piece of tubing 4 having four openings communicating respectively with the interior of the container, with two removable flexible tubes 5, 6, provided with nozzles 7, 8 fitting within the nostrils, and with a removable flattened tube 9 for the mouth, the whole adapted to be carried by the nose and/or mouth of the patient. The inhalant may be in solid form or absorbed in cotton wool. A cover 2 for the container is fitted with a tube 3 on which the tubing 4 is secured. This tubing may be removed, the tube 9 fitted on the tube 3, and the inhaler used for inhaling through the mouth only. A box may be provided in which the inhaler can be stored after removal of the tube 9. The inhaler is suitably made of the materials known by the Registered Trade Marks " Bakelite," or " Galalith," or of celluloid, aluminium, or glass.
