USPTO Abstract
A substance container 200 comprises a body of material 202 that is permeable to allow an aerosol from an aerosol generating device, such as an e-cigarette in which vapour is formed by heating a liquid, to flow into and through the body of material. A substance in the body of material modifies a property of the aerosol, such as taste, pH or an organoleptic property such as feel smell or look. The material may be fibrous, such as that typically used as a filter of a traditional combustible cigarette. The material may comprise a single denier fibre and/or CA, polypropylene, polyester and/or paper. The body of material may have a length of 10-20mm and a diameter of 5-9mm and may be wrapped in a moisture resistant layer. The substance may be a liquid or gel releasable from a capsule 208 by squeezing or breaking. In use, the pressure differential across the length of the body of material is 0-40mm water gauge.
