The composition may be alcohol-free or alternatively include a co-solvent such as ethanol, isopropanol, propylene glycol or polypropylene glycol. It may incorporate flavourings (e.g. orange, clove, lemon, peppermint, menthol essential oils), preservatives (e.g. propyl or butyl parabens) and/or antioxidants (e.g. butylated hydroxy toluene, butylated hydroxy anisole, alpha tocopherol). Also disclosed is a delivery device adapted to deliver doses of the composition.
