In particular, it relates to a new mutant strain and the method for mutagenizing breeding thereof, and the use of the new strain to produce a single ingredient gentamicin C1a, and then using it as a useful intermediate (parent nuclear) for semisynthesizing 1-N-ethyl gentamicin derivatives, and to a composition which consists of semisynthesized 1-N-ethyl gentamicin derivatives as active ingredient and pharmacologically acceptable additives, and the method for preparing thereof.
