USPTO Abstract
A container comprises a tubular composite container body 12 closed at one end by a plastics end 14 which is compression-molded into bonded engagement with a composite can body. The plastics end is formed from the same plastics, e.g. polyethylene, as that which forms the inner lining on the composite can body so as to form a leak-proof seal between the plastics end and the composite can body. The can body comprises a main body wall of paper layers, the inner lining, and an outer aluminium/paper label, and may be closed at its other end by a similar plastics end or a seamed-on metallic closure. <IMAGE>
