1396258 Pocket inhalers SOC FARMACEUTICI ITALIA SpA 13 Aug 1973 [13 April 1973] 38149/73 Heading A5T An inhalation device for administering finely divided medicants comprises a nebulising chamber B for a medicant capsule C, a pushbutton (E), Fig 3, (not shown) carrying needles (D) for piercing the capsule C, and air passages H in the walls defining the chamber B, aranged so that air entering the chamber B on inhalation has a vortical motion which causes the capsule C to oscillate. The passagesH have a tangentail component for causing the vortical motion of the air. An inspiration outlet of the chamber B is closed by a cap (J), Fig 4, (not shown) having a cavity for spare capsules (G) and a pocket clip (F).
