The drive portion which may comprise a plurality of vanes (6) Fig. 2 (not shown) is in a second chamber within the housing 1, the two chambers being separated by the rotor 4, which may be disc-like, having the drive portion on one side, and the capsule or alternatively the plurality of capsules, mounted on the other side. A plunger 8, bias-spring 9 and pin 10 may be provided for piercing a capsule. A portion of the rotor may be engageable from outside the housing for indexing the rotor position. The rotor may comprise the capsules of medicament and be formed as a single replacement unit.
