USPTO Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition useful for reducing localized fat using phosphatidylcholine for a subject with localized fat deposits without pain, edema or side effects, and a method of administration thereof, and, more particularly, to a composition for localized fat reduction with reduced pain and side effects, comprising (i) phosphatidyl choline; and (ii) at least one selected from the group consisting of glycocholic acid (GCA), taurocholic acid (TCA) and salts thereof, wherein (i) and (ii) have a molar ratio of (ii)/(i) of 0.7 to 3.0, and wherein the composition is administered to the affected area of the subject at intervals of less than 4 weeks at a concentration of 25 to 50 mg/mL. The composition of the present invention provides a safe and stable formulation and is highly effective in reducing fat cells without various side effects, and may be administered to the affected area at shorter intervals to maximize the effects.
