The present disclosure relates to a device (10) for nebulizing a liquid composition. The device comprises a mesh (11) and an actuator for vibrating the mesh to nebulize the liquid composition. Further, the device comprises a receptacle (12) for receiving a disposable capsule (20) containing the liquid composition in a substantially vertical manner. The device also comprises a cutting element (13) for perforating a first end (21) of the disposable capsule and a channel (14) connecting the cutting element to the mesh to guide the liquid composition, and a second cutting element (201) configured to open a second end (22) of the capsule. The present disclosure also relates to methods for nebulizing a liquid composition.
