An apparatus for injecting a therapeutic agent into a therapeutic device (100) to treat an eye, the therapeutic device being at least partially implanted in the eye, the apparatus comprising: an injector (701) comprising: an exchange needle (189) configured to penetrate the therapeutic device implanted in the eye, characterised in that the exchange needle comprises: a first lumen (189A) having a first opening (189A1) out from the first lumen; and a second lumen (189B) having a second opening (189B1) into the second lumen, wherein the first lumen is longer than the second lumen such that the first opening from the first lumen is located distal to the second opening into the second lumen; and a chamber (703C) configured to be in fluid communication with second lumen.
