A method for fixating a cartridge (26) adapted for receiving a medicament (134) to a cartridge holder (4d) of an injection device, comprising the steps of: - Providing a cartridge (26) having cylindrical glass barrel (125) and a septum (27) connected to the distal end of the glass barrel (125) using a crimp (27a), - Providing a cartridge holder (4d), - Inserting the cartridge (26) into the cartridge holder (4d) such that the distal end of the cartridge (26) first enters the cartridge holder (4d) and is received by a second cavity (128) which is part of the cartridge holder (4d), Characterized by that the cartridge (26) is axially and rotationally fixed (4d) after the insertion step c) by at least one elastic attachment means (138) for attaching the cartridge (26) to the cartridge holder (4d).
