The present invention refers to a process for the preparation of a coated particle comprising the provision a first and a second enteric coating layer, to a process for the preparation of a dosage form comprising said coated particle, and to a coated particle and a dosage form respectively obtained according to the inventive process. Further, the present invention refers to a coated particle comprising a first and a second enteric coating layer, to a dosage form comprising said coated particle, as well as to the use of said dosage form as a medicament. Finally, the present invention refers to the use of a combination of a first enteric coating layer and a second enteric coating layer for the stabilization of an acid-labile API.
