USPTO Abstract
A device for dispensing a dental material (100) comprises a compartment (111) for the dental material, a piston (26) for extruding the dental material from the compartment, and a spindle drive (11,21,23) for moving the piston and the compartment relative to one another. The spindle drive comprises first and second threads (14,15;24,25) which are operable for moving the piston. The first thread has a first pitch and the second thread has a different second pitch. The invention may provide a relatively inexpensive and reliable dental dispensing device.
