The present invention provides a process for improving the solubility of voriconazole in aqueous solutions. The present invention also provides a composition comprising voriconazole and a beta-cyclodextrin obtainable by this process, a method of treating a fungal infection, a pharmaceutical composition comprising the composition comprising voriconazole and a beta-cyclodextrin and the use of a therapeutically effective amount of the composition comprising voriconazole and a beta-cyclodextrin and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient for the preparation of a medicament for treating a fungal infection.
